With all this talk of a tech bubble and the recent success of the Facebook movie, creating your own startup is the hot new trend and fresh on the bandwagon is a 7-year-old who may very well be the world?s youngest iPhone app developer.
And this isn?t some gimmick. 7-year-old Connor Zamary is a legitimate entrepreneur, his father, Craig Zamary enthused to CNET in an e-mail interview. ?He pitched investors, made his own PowerPoint, filled out the paperwork for his LLC all by himself, has done conference calls with the West Coast developers," Zamary said.
Zamary?s first app is a game called Toaster Pop, a family-friendly iPhone app that allows users to slather toast with various condiments such as butter, jam, and a special spread called ?The Works.? The game costs 99-cents and is available on the Apple App Store.
The most challenging part of being a preteen CEO? Pitching to investors, Connor told CNET. ?I was nervous,? he admits.
Undaunted, Connor is already thinking about version 2.0 -- though he may already be transitioning from creator to venture capitalist.
According to Connor, his 6-year-old sister Annabelle already has an idea in the works and big brother could be investor number one ? if she ever gets her pitch together that is.
